UK based social enterprise iROCK! UK and international fashion and lifestlye magazine FAB are proud to announce the second set of designers confirmed for the Tribes of Africa (TOA) fashion fundraiser scheduled for Saturday 26 May to take place at the prestigious Grange Tower Bridge Hotel.

The night which will boast some of Africa’s finest in fashion to showcase in front of an elite audience including South Africa Deputy High Commissioner Bogiwe Qwabe, Nigerian media mogul Ben Murray-Bruce flying in from Nigeria specifically for the night, CNN 2009 Hero Betty Makoni, UK-based Zambian property tycoon Caroline Marsh, footballers John Shittu and Sodjoe brothers is set to be one of the most memorable black tie fundraisers for Africans in the diaspora and fans of African fashion.

The second set of designers who have confirmed their attendance and full support for the UK-based charitable social enterprise which advocates for the social empowerment of women, are London-based Congolese designer Tina Lobondi, London-based Zimbabwean label VIP Designs by Edith Maromo, and Chichia London of Tanzanian descent. While these three labels add three more African nations to the Tribes of Africa, hot new British designer named Young Designer of the Year 2010 Shivani Chavda, who has already designed a collection for Warehouse will provide a different ethnic flavour.

“We are delighted to have these talented and inspirational women support iROCK! UK and Tribes of Africa; it is proof that we are on the right track if already we are attracting so many fabulously ROCKing talents established in their fields to give us their time and support,” said Viola Ncube, the founder of iROCK, and the winner of Zimbabwe Achievers Awards 2012 Female Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

With these four designers join the other four already on board – Adebayo Jones, Anita Quansah, Nkwo and Kutowa Designs from Zambia, iROCK! UK’s Tribes of Africa event is set to be a fashionable black tie fundraiser which will give the guests on the night an opportunity to celebrate not only iROCK’s charitable work but also Africa’s talent and diversity in fabulously ROCKing style.
