August 4-6 saw RAAAH conclude her three day exhibition at one of the biggest trade shows in the UK, PURE London. One of only three African brands among another 120 young fashion brands RAAAH proved to be both appreciated and among some of the most diverse young brands in provide Pure London’s Spirit section.

“PURE London was an amazing experience. I got two buyers who seeked me out after seeing one of my pieces on the runway which was great! The feeling of someone being interested in something you’ve created is amazing,” said Rahima.

RAAAH proved to be right at home in Pure London’s Spirit section dedicated to edgy, feminine and urban collections. Showcasing summer staples from SS15 forward and featuring everything from cocktail wear to reproduction vintage and casual pieces, the trend-led section housed a diverse mix of brands, 50% of which are international of which RAAAH was on of among brands from the likes of Spain, France, Brazil, Sweden and many more.

The vibrant feel to the Spirit section was  not only shaped by the exciting brand offering, but further enhanced by the Spirit Catwalk, which showcased a r ange of styles in lively catwalk shows taking place twice daily, including a piece from RAAAH’s ‘Fly/Fly High’ collection.

“PURE was great for networking, from meeting stylists to other designers in my position I learnt a lot and made some good contacts. It was an amazing learning curve for me. I would definitely love to do PURE again; I’ve actually already signed up for the next event which will be in February” added Rahima.
